  • Madhuradhwani 2017 – will the artists sing what you want to hear?!!
It is rare indeed to find  a full-blown “Carnatic-oriented” music festival in Singapore, and understandably so, given our size, population, and proximity from India. And yet, Madhuradhwani, has delivered a veritable buffet of Carnatic music concerts and performances for many years now, showcasing

Vibrant Energy

Vibrant Energy I had the privilege and good fortune to perform for Madhuradhwani in Singapore. Its an organization bubbling with great enthusiasts, vibrant energy and sincere effort to promote to the Singapore audience. As an artist one feels extremely charged to be able to do one's best, given an opportunity like this. My best wishes to the organization for many years of fruitful and beautiful work.

A Cultural Treat

I’ve very fond memories of the festival; As artists, we had a direct connection with the audience. The conceptualization of the festival is very good; like a weekend retreat or a cultural treat in other words. The entire festival being youth-driven added a different flavour. The success of festivals like these depends on the presentation, publicity and marketing. I think they've got all of those right. They have nailed the ideal balance between marketing it well & not making it seem commercial. That thin line in Carnatic music is very difficult to achieve, and I think they've got it right
